"Being Green" is something that we can all aspire to since even small actions can have positive benefits to our communities and our world.

Try changing out your old fashioned light bulbs for compact fluorescent or LED lights. You will save energy and some money, too!

Don't have room for a vegetable garden? Try growing a potted patio tomato plant outside your door or a counter top herb garden in your kitchen. Nothing tastes better than veggies you grow yourself!

Better still, surf the web for CSA's in your area if you cannot grow your own veg. What is a CSA? Well, it is the best way to eat locally grown produce from your area. You can join a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)and enjoy a share of the growing season's bounty. Your locally grown produce is fresh from the garden and so full of taste and nutrition that you will never be able to look at a supermarket hot house tomato the same way again.
